The crystal clear waters are the result of deep ocean currents that meet the coast and generate some of the best diving and fishing conditions experienced anywhere in the world.

There is a large family of dolphins who call Jervis Bay home and they can regularly be seen from the beaches and are almost guaranteed to be sighted on the dolphin watch cruises. You may also be lucky enough to sight a whale having a rest in the bay before continuing on its migratory journey or once again a whale watching cruise is a sure fire way to view them first hand.

Some of the land around Jervis Bay is still owned by traditional Koori owners and the Wreck Bay community offer tours that give a unique insight into Australian history.
